NHS-commissioned community diagnostic service
I established and led a community liver assessment service embedded within primary care, providing FibroScan assessment for patients referred by GPs through a dedicated clinical pathway.
Alongside delivering the service, I evaluated routinely collected clinical data, led a published service evaluation, and developed the ALBA algorithm for identifying liver disease.
The service subsequently expanded beyond Southampton to GP practices across the wider area.
